Shot over two afternoons with actor Jahdey Oakley-Wright, Monologue is a character study told through subtle shifts in presence. The images move between 35mm black-and-white candids and more constructed medium-format portraits - two contrasting acts that speak to the duality of public persona and private pause. While it began as a casual portrait session, the project took on a narrative shape of its own, somewhere between documentation and performance.
